LONG-TABLE GOSPEL BRUNCH
Up to 500 ticketed diners will enjoy sumptuous cuisine prepared by 40 of the North Texas’ premier chefs and served at one long table set up on the new Continental Avenue Pedestrian Bridge. Entertaining the diners will be some of West Dallas’ most talented gospel groups. Net proceeds will benefit the Trinity Commons Foundation and the student-chef education programs of the Dallas Restaurant Association and the Texas Chef’s Association.

PACHANGA PARTY

A pachanga is a Tejano tradition, a festive party at which citizens socialize with politicians in a casual setting. Live music, food, drink, and political “deal-making” are always a part of the mix. MOON IN JUNE 1930s DANCEATHON

During the evening, the Trinity River Revel will pay homage to such legendary music forms as swing and big-band with a 1930s-style outdoor dance on the Continental Avenue Pedestrian Bridge. Neeki Bey and the New 17 will deliver the period sounds while a speakeasy pours the beverages of the age.

TRINITY RIVER REVEL 5K RUN

A timed 5K run that will take runners inside both levees of the Trinity River between Commerce Street and Sylvan Avenue. Historically, this will be the first race to take place within the Trinity River levees and on the new Trinity Skyline Trail.

ROLLING RIBBON CUTTING
Talk about a ‘moving’ ceremony. The four Trinity River projects opening on Revel weekend will have their ribbons cut by a swarm of bicyclists. Be a part of the official, rolling ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Sylvan Avenue Bridge, the Trinity Skyline Trail, the Continental Avenue Pedestrian Bridge or the West Dallas Gateway Plaza.

WILDFLOWER DRIVING RANGE
Trinity River Revel will include a pop-up driving range near the new Continental Avenue Pedestrian Bridge. However, instead of driving golf balls off the tee, golfers will be propelling earthen balls packed with wildflower seeds that will populate the river basin when they impact the ground.

TRINITY RIVER REVEL PLAYGROUND

Several Dallas-area arts and cultural organizations are uniting to deliver an afternoon of creative play in the Trinity River basin. But since it is Father’s Day, kids of all ages get to join in the merriment.

GETAWAY CAR SHOW
An exhibition of cars, trucks and motorcycles from the first half of the 20th century will greet guests as they approach the Continental Bridge from Riverfront Boulevard.

PORTALS ART DOOR PROJECT
Supporting Sponsorship - $3,000
Thirty artists will transform thirty wooden doors into portals reflecting the theme ‘Our Past, Present and Future’. Revel attendees will be able to view and bid on the portals at the eastern end of the Continental Avenue Pedestrian Bridge. Proceeds from the highest bids will go to Habitat for Humanity, the Trinity Commons Foundation and the artist.
