Bonnie and Clyde. Al Capone. Bugsy Malone. Along with a disdain for the law, these and other gangsters of the early 20th century are often associated with – the gleaming getaway car.

On Father’s Day, ‘get away’ from the TV set and the canned ham. Bring your fathers, grandfathers, uncles and godfathers to the new Continental Avenue Pedestrian Bridge to ogle a display of vehicles that populated America’s roads long before Nixon became president.

None of them were in an actual gangster getaway…but all will help you escape to a slower time, a simpler era.

The exhibit will feature not just cars…but also trucks and motorcycles. Why, to not treat the ol’ guy to such a stellar assortment of vintage vehicles would just be ... criminal.
